Our History

Foundation		1965	In 1965, the company was founded by six people named as Chengdu Xicheng District Zhonglieci Plastic Group. The main products included plastic thumbtack, food/oil coupon, etc.
Foundation		1968	In 1968, the company started to produce terminal blocks.The products were mainly sold to the machinery and electrical industry in Sichuan Province, China which laid the foundation of our development in electric control power distribution industry.

	1969	The company became the sole terminal block manufacturer in Sichuan Province, China.		Growth
	1972	The company was renamed as Chengdu Bakelite Electric Factory and moved to No.19 West Zhonglieci Street, Chengdu.
	1979	The company was listed as one of 19 appointed terminal block manufacturers by the Ministry of Machine-Building Industry. Our products were sold all over the country.
	1980	Benefiting from the opening of market economy, our products were rapidly sold to nearly one thousand companies and renamed as Chengdu Low Voltage Electric Factory.		Development
	1981	The factory was moved to No. 50, North Shiren Road, Chengdu.
	1985	The company was recognized as the sole Technological Transformation Project of the electric control industry in “the Seventh Five-year plan” of the nation.
	1993	The company has been the chairman of the Accessory Committee of Electric Control Power Distribution Equipment Branch, China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association.

International Cooperation

1994

Cooperated with Weidmüller Interface GmbH & Co. by founding Joint venture named Chengdu Weidmüller Interface Co., Ltd.


	2001　Renamed as Chengdu Reliance Electric Co., Ltd.		Spanning
	2001　ERP system was developed and put online successfully.
	2001　Obtained ISO9001:2000 Certificate.
	2001　Obtained CE Certificate.
	2003　Moved to No. 189, Ruilian Road, Chengdu.
	2008　Moved to No. 66, West Ruilian Road, Chengdu.
	2009　Recognized as National High-Tech Enterprise.
	2010　Recognized as Sichuan Province Intellectual Property Rights Pilot Enterprise.
	2011　Recognized as Sichuan Province Enterprise Technology Center.
